From Amsterdam to the studio
Weesp is part of the municipality of Amsterdam, and the studio is located on Stationsweg. By car you can get there from the center in about half an hour on the A1 or A9; there is opportunity to park.
It is shorter by train. From Amsterdam Central, Amstel or Zuid, the sprinter runs directly to Weesp station — Weesp is the junction where the Flevolijn, the Gooilijn and the Schiphollijn come together, so you do not have to change.

What happens to your watch
Every watch begins with an investigation. We open the case, look at the movement under the microscope and determine what is needed. Only then will you receive a quote — nothing will be done that you haven't said yes to.
During a service, the timepiece is completely disassembled, cleaned, re-oiled and adjusted. Worn parts are replaced or, in the case of older watches for which no longer available, they are custom made. The case is then closed and the watch is tested, including for water resistance.

Frequently asked questions
Can I come by with my watch?
Yes, by appointment. The studio is not a shop, so an appointment ensures that there is time to look at the watch together. Please contact us via the contact page or register your watch in advance.
How long does it take?
That depends on what is needed and the parts. A service usually takes several weeks; a restoration that requires parts to be made, longer. You will receive an indication once the investigation has been completed, and you can track the status of your repair online.
Do you also work on vintage watches?
That's most of the work. Especially for older timepieces, parts are no longer for sale and are made or adjusted in the workshop.
