From The Hague to the studio
The Hague is approximately seventy-five kilometers from the studio: one hour by car, one hour by train with a transfer at Amsterdam Zuid or Duivendrecht.
That is the reason for most customers from The Hague to send the watch. With the shipping service you will receive a sturdy watch box and a shipping label at home; you only have to deliver the package to a postal point. The watch is insured there and back.
If you still want to come by, you can do so by appointment - the studio is located on Stationsweg in Weesp, next to the station.
What happens to your watch
Every watch begins with an investigation. We open the case, look at the movement under the microscope and determine what is needed. Only then will you receive a quote — nothing will be done that you haven't said yes to.
During a service, the timepiece is completely disassembled, cleaned, re-oiled and adjusted. Worn parts are replaced or, in the case of older watches for which no longer available, they are custom made. The case is then closed and the watch is tested, including for water resistance.

Should I come to Weesp?
No. The watch can be insured by post, in a box that will be sent to your home. You can visit by appointment.
Is my watch insured during shipping?
Yes. You will receive a sturdy watch box and a shipping label; the watch is insured against loss and damage up to 5000 euros, and a higher insurance value is possible on request. Everything is on the Shipping Service page.
How long does it take?
That depends on what is needed and the parts. A service usually takes several weeks; a restoration that requires parts to be made, longer. You will receive an indication once the investigation has been completed, and you can track the status of your repair online.
